The Lehman Influence

The Park Avenue Armory is a jaw-dropping historic arts space on NYC’s Upper East Side. The Lehman Trilogy is an epic three-act portrait of Lehman Brothers’ rise from a humble Alabama general store in 1844 to the bank that nearly brought down the global economy when it failed in 2008.

For the show’s Armory run (directed by Sam Mendes), we created an installation that told the story of the Lehmans’ immense (and underappreciated) influence on the American economy, all via articles from the Wall Street Journal archives.
